About Me

My photo
Hugh Daugaard
Hey I’m Hugh, I’m in high school, surf with Christian Surfers and live on the Central Coast. It is a community that revolves around the sea. Surfing is a common interest for heaps of people on the coast and you can talk with just about anyone by talking about the surf. I started competing at longboard events in 2010. I was the under sixteen NSW State champion that year and became a team rider for Bennett Surfboards. Since then I’ve represented Bennett Surfboards at a lot of longboard events: Noosa Festival of Surfing; Magoo Charity Classic; Crescent Head Malibu Classic, Snowy MCalister Surf Festival, Curly Mal Jam, Central Coast Open, Banana Classic and the State and Aussie Titles. Bennett Surfboards has linked me up with their Hawaiian shaper, Matt Wilkerson. He makes very fast boards that are highly manoeuvrable and I am stoked to be competing on them.
